PHILADELPHIA, PA, Wednesday, June 3, 2020 – Following a State-mandated shut-down period of several weeks, HouseCheck is once again conducting home inspections in the Philadelphia five-county region.
“We’re pleased that we’ve gotten the green light from the State to resume our role in facilitating real estate transactions in Southeastern Pennsylvania,” explained Bill Klehm, HouseCheck President & CEO. “Our inspectors are back in action, and the real estate market is heating up, which are good signs for both our regional and national economy.”
HouseCheck has been a leading provider of home inspections in Philadelphia and beyond, and the company’s inspectors have expressed an eagerness to get back to work helping homebuyers and home sellers as well as the real estate agents who serve them.
“Owning a home is a part of the American Dream,” noted Dan McLaughlin, HouseCheck’s Southeast Pennsylvania Area Manager. “Conducting a professional home inspection is a vital part of the process of buying a house, so my team and I are happy to get back to collaborating with our friends in the real estate industry to help make people’s home ownership dreams come true.”
As the Philadelphia market reopens, HouseCheck has taken several key steps to assure the safety of employees, consumers, and real estate agents in the lingering shadow of coronavirus:
- All HouseCheck inspectors will have their temperature taken before entering a home
- All HouseCheck inspectors are required to wear a face mask during inspections, and also during any in-person interactions with buyers, sellers, and agents
- All HouseCheck inspectors will remain at home if feeling sick, and will arrange for another inspector to conduct the inspection, or will reschedule the inspection at the client’s/agent’s preference
- If anyone in a home that is to be inspected has recently been sick, HouseCheck will gladly reschedule the inspection and waive the cancellation fee
In addition, for a limited time, HouseCheck is waiving the customary access fee for its real estate partners to its specialized COVIDClean Resource Hub. Developed in partnership with leading environmental scientists, this website contains a detailed coronavirus-specific cleaning guide, how-to videos, and additional information and protocols for cleaning and sanitizing properties. Agents can email COVIDClean@HouseCheck.com to receive a free promo code for access to this valuable information.
